The late Simphiwe Thamsanqa Shobede best known for his stage name Thami Shobede, was a South African musician, presenter, actor and Idols SA season 12 runner-up.

The following years after emerging as a runner-up, he dropped some amazing music. In 2018, his album “Never Lost” earned a Best R&B Album nomination.

Sadly, he passed away in September 2019 after collapsing while performing on stage. Still, his music lives on.
