After dropping out of varsity, Boity enrolled in a casting agency where she nurtured her career as a model. Her efforts enabled her to appear on a Wimpy commercial in 2010. In 2011 Boity started presenting “The Media Career Guide Show” on SABC1 alongside Stevie French. Boity then worked as a co-host on the SABC1 “Zoned” show alongside Mpumi Mbether. She was featured as a guest judge in a dance competition show called “Turn it out”. Ever since then Boity has become a successful actress, television personality and entrepreneur.

Boity had previously dated Family Tree CEO Cassper Nyovest. At some point, she was rumoured to be dating entrepreneur Maps Maponyane, because she was always seen with him. But it turned out they were just friends.
