Where is Cici originally from?

Cici was born in Ladysmith, South African. She revealed that she was born into a religious family. Her late father was a pastor as well as her mother. Cici currently resides in Johannesburg.

Cici has always been very passionate about music since she was young. She was inspired by the late Brenda Fassie, and Lebo Mathosa. She has stated that she was studying Psychology at a University but dropped out to focus on her music career.

Does Cici have a child?

Yes, Cici has an adorable baby. When she announced that she was pregnant with her first child, Mzansi was shocked at the news because she had previously revealed that she couldn’t have children. In an interview with Daily Sun, at the time, she said

“He said during pregnancy, the child sits on the pelvic bones and because mine were broken and had screws in them, I may never be able to have children.”

On the 15th of May 2020, Cici gave birth to her first child, she named Diallo.

In 2019, Cici shared a photo of herself in a bridal gown hinting to fans that she had gotten married. However, she did not reveal the identity of the man she is married to. She announced her first pregnancy a few days after the wedding leading everyone to believe that her “mystery” husband is her baby daddy. Fans have unveiled him to be Rugby agent and sports entrepreneur, Puledi Manamela.

Record Label

At the beginning of her career, Cici was signed to Authur Mafokate’s record label and also managed by him. The two were also dating at the time until news broke that he physically abused and assaulted her. This led to a legal war after which she left the label. In September 2019 she signed with Ambitiouz Entertainment.
