DBN Gogo was originally born in Durban, but grew up with her parents, Jeff and Bridgette in Pretoria. She also spent 4 years living with them in France.
DJ & Music Career
DBN Gogo has only been Deejaying for a few years now, and is very new to the entertainment industry. According to her, it has been something she’s wanted to do for a long time. She has also referred to herself as “a really musical person” who used to “play the piano, sing, dance”. She stated that the only thing she didn’t do was Deejay but “it sort of kind of found me”.
DBN Gogo is famous for playing all sorts of House music, but not Gqom. She has revealed that her music style was influenced by the various places she has lived.

An article published by Briefly in 2021 revealed that DBN Gogo is the daughter of Jeff Radebe, the former minister of energy, and businesswoman, Bridgette Motsepe. Jeff Radebe is a brother in law of Cyril Ramaphosa and Patrice Motsepe. According to reports, his sisters were married to the president and Patrice.
