Compulsory School Subjects To Become A Traffic Cop In South Africa:

There are no compulsory subjects needed for you to study before you can become a traffic cop in South Africa. There are however requirements that you have to meet before you will be considered into the South African traffic cop industry. The requirements are as follows;

  • South African Citizenship

You have to be a legal citizen of South Africa to become a traffic cop in the country. Without proof of citizenship, you will not be allowed as an official South African traffic cop officer.

  • No Criminal Record

This is another major requirement that you will need to pass before you will be employed as a legal traffic cop officer in South Africa. A criminal record check will be done which must verify you as a clean-record citizen.

  • Grade 12 Certificate

Before you will be approved as a legal South African traffic cop, you are required to possess a Grade 12 certificate .

  • Under 35 years

If you want to apply to be a traffic cop in South Africa, you shouldn’t surpass the age of 35. If you are over 35 years of age, your application will be denied.

  • Code B Driving License

You must possess and submit a code B driving license during your application as a South African traffic cop.

  • Medical Clearance
