Lloyd Cele studied Software Engineering at MIIT College in Durban.

Music Career

In 2010, Lloyd entered the Idols SA contest and emerged as  a runner-up. He revealed that he was going through financial problems at the time and his wife encouraged him to join the show. After the show, he performed at various shows including Miss SA pageant, Gary the Tooth Fairy Show on M-net, the Paarl Jazz Festival in Cape Town, Durban ICCand K Day, among others.

Awards

In 2011, Lloyd Cele’s debut album “One” scored him a SAMA award in the “Best Pop Album” category.

Lloyd Cele has been married to his beautiful wife Janice Cele since 2006. The lovely couple has been blessed with three children.
