Manaka Ranaka joined the cast of Isidingo playing Nandipha Sithole in 2000. She then goes on to feature in theatre productions namely Drumstruck, On My Birthday and Torong, among others. In 2002 she scored a role on Gaz’lam as Portia. The talented actress was also cast on the sitcom, Stokvel, in 2003 and she appeared in all the eight seasons.
