Moonchild Sanelly’s career took off in 2006 with a performance at the Durban University of Technology. Her performances landed her at Gagasi FM, where she made regular appearances on the radio show Poetry with King Siso.

Her next major break came when Red Bull discovered her through an EP, she was featured on by celebrated DJ and producer Shimza. She has been working with Redbull ever since and also performing on the Red Bull Music Festival.

Moonchild Sanelly has performed at the Shoko Festival in Zimbabwe, Primavera Sound in Barcelona, and at Coachella 2019.
