Educational background

Solo enrolled at the University of Johannesburg, he majored in Accounting but never graduated due to his decision to drop out. He went on to pursue a music career.

Career

Solo released his first album, No Shades of Grey in 2010 and got a review of 4/5 by Hype Magazine. Two years later, he released another single, Bad before signing a recording deal and label with Grey Dreaming under Kabomo Vilakazi.

Since then, Solo has worked with other top music artists. Some of his popular hits are ‘Star Dust’, ‘The Frolic’, ‘Overtime’, among other hit songs.

In 2018, Solo teamed up with The BETR Gang to release their new project, Tour Dates Deluxe which consists of multiple tracks and artists. They also launched a nationwide tour that year and performed in different parts of South Africa.
