Terry Pheto’s family lived in Soweto when she was growing up. She was part of the local theatre process at the time. Terry was spotted by a casting agent when she was 21 years and this agency influenced her rise in the entertainment industry. In 2005 she made her acting debut in the film industry playing a supporting role in the film, Tsotsi. Ever since her debut Terry has appeared in numerous movies, theatre plays and television productions.
