Career

In 2005 Carol Tshabalala joined Kaya FM 95.5 as a sports information reporter. In 2008, she landed the work of a drive time recreation display host at Radio 2000.

Carol began her media career at SABC as a sportscaster and also worked as a television anchor, program director and voice-over artist during her time there.

In 2011, after 10 years of working with SABC, she announced that she would be leaving SABC and joining SuperSport.

In 2016, she entered the international scene as a live studio anchor on Barclay’s Premier League (IMG productions).
As a sportscaster, in 2017, she had the honour of co-web hosting SuperSport’s 10th-year birthday celebration.

Relationship

Carol Tshabalala got married to Solomon Manana when she was 19 years old and had two children – Joel (born 2002) and Solomon (born 2007). She is additionally taking care of Mpho, her late sisters’ child.

In December 2006, Carol and Solomon got a divorce. In 2015 Carol began dating Sbu Motloung and they are still going strong.
