Cathy Mohlahlana obtained her degree in International Relations and Political Sciences from Wits University.

Career

Cathy Mohlahlana started out as a copywriter at the University and also worked for her University station. After her first year, Radio 702 gave her full-time employment. She was offered the position of reporter and radio anchor for the station. She briefly worked for Kaya FM at the same time.

Later on, She got a position at eNews Channel Africa (eNCA), she worked there till March 2019. She resigned along with Thulasizwe Simelane on the 29th day of March 2019.

Cathy is currently working for Newsroom Afrika that airs on DStv channel 405 and hosts Editor’s choice every Sunday morning. She hosts the daily show Newz@Prime that airs between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm.
