Cindy Swanepoel graduated from the University of Stellenbosch and obtained a degree in Drama and Arts.

Career

Cindy Swanepoel‘s acting career began with her debut appearance in Circles in a Forest. It was an Artscape theater production and was directed by Marinda Engelbrecht.

She revived the production in 2004 at the Klein Karoo National Arts Festival. She then obtained an acting position in the KKNK festival the following year.

In 2005 Cindy got her first television acting job in the series, Egoli: Place of Gold, where she played the role of July.

She made her stage debut in the 2008 performance Houtkruis. Elzette Maarschalk directed the production.
She appeared in another stage project titled, Stephen van Niekerk in 2011.

Cindy was cast in Alby Michaels‘ production of The Crucible. She’s also appeared in shows including The Mating Game, Skeletons in the Closet, and 90 Plein Street on television.

Cindy Swanepoel has also been in several popular South African television series, including 7th Avenue, Generations, and Villa Rosa to mention a few.
