Career

DJ Christos began his career by working in a recording studio in Pretoria at the young age of 11. He finally got a job at one of the biggest nightclubs in Pretoria, The Jacqueline Night Club as a resident Deejay. His challenge was how to keep people dancing for eight full hours and had to learn other styles and created different mixes to ensure the club environment did not get boring.

Afterwards he went on to play at Clubs like Fourth World and Caesars Palace. DJ Christos was scheduled to play on Thursday and Friday nights at Caesars Palace. He started Katsaikis Music label and he co-founded Kalawa Music Label. DJ Christos has also collaborated with many top South African musicians.

DJ Christos is happily married to Tebogo and they both have three children together named Taki, Michael, and CJ. They reside in Johannesburg and along with his wife, he runs a family restaurant business called Shaguma Café.
