Lalla Hirayama was born on the 10th of February 1988 in Hiratsuka, Kanagawa-Ken, Japan. Her father was a white South African Jewish man and her mother was a Japanese woman. Lalla moved to Australia at the age of 4 and at the age of 6 she moved to South Africa.

Dancing Career

Lalla Hirayama’s dancing talent was discovered at the age of 4 years. She was trained to dance Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Spanish and Tap dance. When she was 14 years old, she was a professional dancer and began teaching young Japanese dancers. When Lalla returned to South Africa a year later she formed South Africa’s first mix style hip-hop dance crew “Clinch”. The dance crew became popular and was featured in videos and also performed live with artists such as Loyiso Bala, Boom Shaka, Skwatta Camp, Unathi Msengana etc. As the years went by she began focusing more on acting and presenting.
