Career

While Sha Sha was in Harare staying with her aunt, she pursued her music by performing at free gigs while also working as a waitress and then as a receptionist. She met Audius Mtawarira who is a producer, he became her mentor and also assisted her in improving her craft. Sha Sha’s music career kick started when she and Audius were introduced to South African producers in 2017. “When I started singing in Mutare it was just a hobby. My main focus was applying to be a nurse but that wasn’t working well….” Sha Sha shared in an interview.
