Shona Ferguson died on July 30 after a 33-day battle with Covid-19. In recent weeks, Connie took to Instagram live on the second Sunday after Shona’s death to discuss how she is coping with the Shona-sized gaps in her routines. In a video session titled “Carpet Sundays,” the actress revealed what she and Shona used to do on Sundays. Since then, she has let many of her followers in and allowed them to participate in the “Carpet Sundays.”‘ This Sunday, Connie recorded a video of herself reading scriptures about grief. Watch here;

“There are a lot of places in the Bible where it’s clear that grieving is normal,” the actress said, referring to the scriptures she’s been reading. We are allowed to grieve, to feel what we feel, and to cry when we need to.” She also thanked her fans and friends for their love and support during her healing process.
